Dear students and colleagues, I'm very happy to announce that I'm back with some METU English Proficiency Exam (EPE) careful reading and vocabulary part practice materials just before the next EPE that will be administered in mid-January 2026. There are now three new reading paper sets available.

As in previous materials, I've put maximum effort in choosing up-to-date articles from prestigious magazines and journals that deal with global issues. In addition to their value as practice materials, I hope that text contents will interest and excite you as they not only cover important developments in anthropology, archaeology and space research but include trendy topics from AI to human enhancement, and to how to become rich in 2025.

The texts are carefully edited to conform to the level and other specifications of METU EPE. The approach to question design and the format again reflect the latest EPE specifications found in the EPE booklet. As these are practice materials, texts may be a bit longer than 1000 words and there may be one or two extra questions for some texts. I hope you benefit greatly from these materials. Please add any comments you consider appropriate including the pointing out of any mistakes and unclear parts.
